Our staff
We create a well-coordinated multicultural team!
Our staff is a multicultural team of teachers, caregivers, psychologists and methodologists.
What unites us is English speaking and passion for action. We exchange our knowledge, experiences, good practices and everyday observations to give our clients the care and development they need. The standards of our work are quality routines whose performance is appreciated every day.
Parents of our students can check the monthly performance evaluation, and employees receive professional support in the areas they need. The staff evaluation and motivation system is focused on the development of both employees and students.
Thanks to this, we know that our children receive what they need from us.

Our staff

Iwona Ferszter Petz
I created this with my younger daughter in mind because I couldn’t find a preschool that met our needs—especially in terms of language.
By profession, I am a lawyer and worked in the media industry for 15 years. After the birth of my younger daughter, Helenka, I decided to leave the corporate world and establish a network of English-language preschools.
The British Council granted me exclusive rights in Poland to a preschool program called Learning Time with Timmy, which sealed my decision… I took action.
Today, we have four locations. I feel incredibly happy hearing children speak English at preschool and seeing our teachers from all over the world. I take great joy in the international community we are building together. Creating Little Academy has become our passion—we do it with immense dedication.

Agnieszka
I am a manager with over ten years of experience in both Polish companies and international corporations. I studied Marketing and Management at the Warsaw School of Economics.
I love art and architecture, and I also paint, write, and run blogs dedicated to exploring urban spaces and books. I am passionate about working with people from different countries. I believe that the multicultural environment of Little Academy is a tremendous asset and that the children who graduate from our preschool will feel like true citizens of the world.

The author of numerous publications for teachers, preschool children, and young school-age students. A lecturer at the University of Warsaw, the Maria Grzegorzewska University, and the J. Korczak Pedagogical University.

Agnieszka
A graduate of English Philology with a specialization in translation and Pedagogy. At Little Academy, she serves as an English language educator.
Following the principle that “there is no single source of knowledge, no identical student, and no one path of development,” she strives to design and diversify the curriculum in a way that is individually tailored to each child.

Anja
I hold a Sensory Integration Therapy license, completed in Serbia, and have several years of experience working in Montessori environments. Additionally, I’ve completed courses in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and Reggio Emilia, all of which help me see the beauty in working with children and constantly learning from them.
I am deeply committed to fostering a joyful and nurturing learning environment where natural materials and play are central to our approach. I believe that every child deserves to leave preschool with happy memories.
As Maria Montessori said, “The greatest sign of success for a teacher… is to be able to say, ‘The children are now working as if I did not exist.'” I strive to align with this philosophy, guiding children to become independent, confident, and joyful learners.

Agnieszka
I am a graduate of English Philology and Pedagogy. For many years, I combined my three greatest professional passions as an English language teacher, fitness instructor and trainer, and manager.
Despite my extensive experience in people management, I continuously enhance my professional qualifications because I am deeply interested in the psychology of management.
I love all kinds of sports, and I am passionate about musicals, good, meaningful books, and traveling.
On a daily basis, I also fulfill the most important role of my life—being a mom to Kacper, Adaś, and Anielka.

Olga
My name is Olga Ziółkowska. I hold a bachelor’s degree in early childhood and preschool education from the University of Warsaw. Currently, I am continuing my studies in social pedagogy with psychopedagogy.
Educating young children and observing their development is my passion and motivation. What I value most in children is their sensitivity, authenticity, and ability to find joy in the smallest things. Their constant curiosity about the world allows us, adults, to learn something new every day.
As a vice principal, I place great emphasis on teamwork and creating a warm, family-like atmosphere, which I hope is felt by both our children and their parents.

Barbara
I hold a master’s degree in English Philology and a CELTA certificate. I have been teaching English for 15 years and ran my own language school for several years.
What brings me the greatest joy is working with children—observing their progress in learning, witnessing their development, and building warm, close relationships with my students.
Privately, I have a deep interest in foreign languages. Besides English, I also speak Spanish and German, and I am currently learning Arabic. I have always been fascinated by different cultures, and I truly appreciate that at Little Academy, I have the opportunity to interact with children from all over the world.

Joanna
I am an empathetic person, focused on building relationships based on mutual trust and openness. I strive to ensure that my positive attitude and good energy translate into effective actions.
As a preschool director, I draw on 20 years of professional experience in team management, teaching, and training. I have a background in economics and finance, and I am soon to complete my studies in educational management.
When working with me, you can count on being heard and having your needs appropriately addressed.
Privately, I am a mother of two teenagers, and my passion lies in seeking knowledge that encourages reflection on how to live a long and healthy life. I am constantly exploring areas of knowledge that help me enhance my personal effectiveness. I regularly engage in mindfulness training, Nordic walking, and cooking.

Anja
For over nine years, I have had the privilege of teaching across two continents and in several countries, embracing a diverse range of programs, techniques, methods, and cultures, with a primary focus in the USA on infant age development (starting with babies as young as 6 weeks old). This journey has deepened my passion for education and continually enhanced my teaching skills.
I studied English language and literature at university, alongside Pedagogy with a focus on early education, nurturing my love for languages. I can speak and understand several Balkan languages, including Serbian, Montenegrin, Croatian, and Macedonian, and I have A1 proficiency in both Chinese and Polish.

Magdalena
Hello, my name is Magda, and I am very excited to be working with your children this year.
As a British Council teacher specializing in early childhood education, I focus on learning through play and positive experiences. My goal is to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where every child feels safe, happy, and confident while exploring the English language.
I am an open and friendly person, and helping children build confidence in English brings me great joy. My love for music, especially singing, allows me to turn songs and rhythms into fun and engaging tools that make language learning an enjoyable experience.
